Unlocking Collaborative Potential with Shared Access

Shared access is a crucial, almost indispensable feature in the realm of page builders, and modern web platforms. Recognizing that we are building a page builder platform for 3D Visualization and 3D Configurators, we've taken steps to make sure that the feature of shared project access will be available on our platform from Day One.

Introducing Teams

Your Gateway to Seamless Collaboration, at the heart of our commitment to shared access lies the introduction of 'teams' on our platform. Teams serve as the bedrock of our approach to shared access, creating an environment where projects and team members seamlessly converge. Within a team, all members enjoy unrestricted access to every project within that team.

We understand the need for control, especially in an era of concurrent real-time changes however as a platform there are things that take priority over real-time concurrent changes for now which led us to make the decision to strike a balance between collaboration and order.

We've implemented a system where only one person can edit a project at any given time. When a user begins editing a project, it temporarily locks access for others. Although it's a bit old school it helps us to make the platform collaborative until we move our focus towards real-time concurrency.

Versioning Projects

Safeguarding Your Creative Journey
Versioning isn't just for page builders; it's a vital feature even for 3D configurators and platforms like ours. Project versioning is a familiar concept, offering you the ability to create checkpoints or snapshots in your project's evolution. These checkpoints act as a safety net, allowing you to journey back in time if necessary.

We've observed a shared concern among team members ( artists, 3D content creators ) - the fear of irrevocable mistakes. The need for backup mechanisms to prevent mishaps became apparent.

To address this, we're working towards Versioning projects.
This feature will automatically capture snapshots of your project, whether triggered by time intervals or significant events. Think of it as a time-travel mechanism for your projects.

At the house of bespoke ( thob ) our intent is to make this platform for a diverse audience, developers, artists, content creators, etc.
